The CDM2007 Regulations place duties on clients, co-ordinators, designers and contractors to plan, co-ordinate and manage health and safety throughout all stages of a construction project.
The Group provides support to its members who are made up of all the classes of CDM duty holder. It gives excellent opportunity for members to become aware of those important issues to do with the planning and management of construction work and with the standards of health and safety which are required on site. Members are encouraged to attend regular seminars covering a wide range of issues which are to do with the construction process.
Clients, designers, co-ordinators and contractors - indeed anyone with a contribution to the effective operation of the CDM Regulations - are invited to give presentations. At the seminars there is always opportunity to ask questions. HSE construction Inspectors are available to give advice and guidance.
